Powerful Voices Top 13 of 2013:

  1. 348 girls graduated from our programs, better equipped to become strong women  
  2. Girlvolution brought 250 youth and adults together to build a better world 
  3. Girl Justice training sold out...offered a second training and it sold out...that means 100 new adults are using our practices with girls in their communities 
  4. New partnership with Atlantic Street Center addressed a critical need for pregnant and parenting girls in South Seattle 
  5. Denny Middle School girls group rocked their Women's History Day Assembly 
  6. Featured by the Ms. Foundation for Women for our commitment to youth leadership  
  7. External evaluations, made possible by the Raikes Foundation, showed our program quality exceeds the national average   
  8. You gave BIGGER in May 2013 - raising a record $26,000 in one day   
  9. Seattle Youth Violence Prevention Initiative doubled our capacity to provide Case Management to girls   
  10. Dr. Constance Rice inspired 222 people to use their voices on the Day of the Girl   
  11. Received requests for curriculum by 35 different organizations from New York to Tennessee to San Francisco - time to take the show on the road 
  12. Keeping the tradition going, we kicked off another year of Microsoft's DigiGirlz high tech camp  
  13. Our star is shining bright on the corner of Broadway & John - thanks to Sound Transit and Capitol Hill Chamber
